Concussion Safety & Rowan's Law
Concussion safety is everyone’s business. Whether you are a member of the Annandale Curling Club; the parent of someone under the age of 18; a participant who is playing at the Club; a Club Official or a Coach, each of us contributes to the well-being of ourselves and others. This is particularly true when it comes to playing a sport on ice where there is chance of falling and hitting one’s head.
In the context of the new legislative requirements related to concussion safety, and existing guidelines and policies at Curling Canada and Curl Ontario, the Annandale Curling Club is taking action to improve concussion safety practices. The documents and links to other sources are meant to enhance concussion awareness and to promote safe practices and well-being.
